My body and my perception of space and surroundings is the essence of my work. I concentrate on the formal, the structure and the precision both of the visual image and of movement. I concern myself with human behaviour towards each other and with the engagement and interaction with the environment.

My work derives from images and thoughts that are used as a vessel to reflect upon these concerns.

I was born in 1972 in Malmö, Sweden. In 1992 I moved to England, where I first worked and subsequently studied. First Performing Arts in Bath, where I was awarded the student of the year award in 1996. Then a BA (Honours) in Theatre at the Dartington College of Arts. This studies took me as a guest student to Berlin in 1998 to 1999, where I joined the Acting Class at the HDK and the Scenography Class in the Kunsthochschule für Gestaltung, Weißensee.
After my graduation I moved to Berlin in the autumn of 1999, where I participated in various International dance and theatre performances. I started to study Fine Arts in 2001 and joined the Performance Class of Marina Abramovic at the HBK Braunschweig, Germany. In 2003 I founded TBL (TallBlondLadies) with Irina Runge whom I met in the class. In 2005 I graduated with a German 'Diplom' (MA) in Fine Arts.
In 2006 I was awarded the Worpswede Künstlerhäuser Artist in Residence Grant as well as the Grant from Aase och Richard Björklunds fond. I received the working grant from the Swedish Fine arts foundation in 2007.
I am a member of the Abramovic Foundation founded by Marina Abramovic in 2007.
